Create Account allows you to securely sign-up for a PayPal account from QNB Internet Banking. PayPal will use your credit/debit card details provided by QNB to create your account. You can immediately start using it to shop online. If you already have an account, you need to link your QNB debit/credit card to your existing account via the PayPal website.
How does it work?
Click on Create Account, choose the credit/debit card you wish to attach to your PayPal account, you can choose one card or more to link to your account. Create a password on the mini-browser page and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy. An email will then be sent by PayPal confirming the creation of your account.
What if I did not finalize the PayPal account creation process?
You need to click on “Create Password & agree to User Agreement” to finalize the process. If you do not, your PayPal account will be created, but you won’t be able to use it. In this case, PayPal will send you a reminder email explaining how to finalize the process on.
Why open my PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking instead of PayPal.com?
Opening your account via QNB Internet Banking is easier, faster and more convenient to get started with PayPal. Since you are operating from a secure QNB online environment, PayPal will trust your account and lift restrictions usually applied to new accounts.
How can I change the details of my PayPal account?
You cannot change the information that QNB sends to PayPal to create the account. However, you can log in to your newly created account on www.paypal.com/qa and then change your details there.
Why can’t I use Create Account?
If you already created a PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking, the Create Account service will be shaded and you will not be able to use it anymore. If you wish to create another PayPal account, you can go to www.paypal.com/qa.
Can I close my PayPal account?
Yes, to close your PayPal account, you need to log into your PayPal account on www.paypal.com/qa, go to Account > Profile > My Settings > Close Account.
What is the minimum and maximum amount for top up?
Minimum 100 QAR or Equivalent in USD
Maximum 10,000 QAR or Equivalent in USD
What is Top-up?
The Top-up service allows you to transfer funds (top-up) instantly from your QNB account into your PayPal account. You can top-up your PayPal account up to 10,000 QAR or equivalent USD in a day. The money will be immediately credited to your PayPal account.
How does it work?
Once you create your PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking, simply select the amount you wish to top-up your PayPal account with and confirm the payment. The money appears instantly in your PayPal account and you will receive an email letting you know that the money is available.
Can I top-up for a PayPal account not created in QNB Internet Banking (created in PayPal)?
You can top-up for an already created PayPal account provided the email ID in your QNB profile is the same as your PayPal account email address. Please note that PayPal allows top-up for PayPal accounts created in Qatar. In case your PayPal account is created abroad you would need to open a new PayPal account in order to use the Top-up service.
What if my QNB profile email is different from my PayPal account email?
If the email registered on QNB is not your PayPal account email address, you can attach the QNB registered email address to your existing PayPal account by logging in to PayPal > My Account > Profile > Add/Edit Email. You can also change your QNB registered email address.
What if I don’t have a PayPal account?
You can create a PayPal account on QNB Internet Banking. If you did a top-up to your email address without having a PayPal account, you can sign up for an account using this email address and claim the money once the PayPal account is created.
How much does it cost to top-up a PayPal account?
Every time you top-up your PayPal account, you will be charged QAR 15
Can I cancel or recall a top-up transaction?
If you have successfully performed a top-up transaction to your PayPal account and the amount is not yet credited to the account you can recall the transaction in Transaction History. If the amount is already credited to the account you cannot cancel the payment.
Why can I only top-up with US dollars?
As PayPal does not support top-ups in Qatari Riyals this service is only available in USD.
How can I check the balance on my QNB PayPal account?
Your PayPal account balance can be seen under view balance option.
What is Transaction History?
Transaction History allows you to track all top-up and withdrawal transactions. You can filter transaction history to view the last 10 transactions, current month’s transactions or transactions for a specific period.
What do the different transactions statuses mean?
Credited: When the withdrawal/ top up amount is credited to the customer account.
In Progress: When the user initiated transaction is pending with the QNB/PayPal.
Expired: When the Standing order is completed/expired.
You can track all top-up transactions in the Transaction History.
How can I transfer funds from PayPal account to QNB account?
You can transfer funds after setting up the PayPal Withdrawal service which allows you to link your PayPal account to your QNB account.
How much does it cost to withdraw from PayPal Wallet to QNB account?
Every time you withdraw from PayPal wallet to your QNB account, you will be charged QAR 15
Can I link multiple PayPal accounts for withdrawal?
Withdrawal Setup is possible only from one account at a given time. You can remove the account whenever is required and set up another account at any time.

You are eligible to apply for a scholarship if you meet the criteria and conditions listed below:
The applicant must be a Qatari citizen.
The applicant must hold a secondary school certificate with a percentage of not less than 70%, and in case the applicant is still studying and registered at university his/her cumulative average GPA score should be at least 3.0
The field of study should be according to the needs of the Bank and the approval granted.
The scholarship program stipulates to passing induction tests conducted by the desired University / College.
A student should abide by the specified time limit for graduation and must excel in the approved major.
A student may not change specialization without prior permission from the Bank (Coordinator of Student Affairs Department, QNB Human Resources dept.)
The student must adhere to the regulations and the specific procedures prescribed by the curriculum of the university and the Bank as mentioned in the scholarship contract.
The student must work for the bank for one years for every year of study immediately after graduation. If he/she does not graduate within the period agreed upon, or does not complete the study, or does not work at the bank after graduation, the student pledges to pay the fees determined by the scholarship contract and the internal regulations of the bank.
The student must be committed to studying and to the working hours as per the scholarship contract and the regulations of the university and the Bank while maintaining the appropriate performance required of the student in the scholarship contract.
No absence is permitted during studies or exams except with an official leave of absence that is accepted by the University citing legitimate reasons.
